Speedwatch Event

"Members of the council attended a Community Speedwatch event run by Humberside Police at Melton 2 Police Station on the evening of Monday 17th February.

The Police Coordinator, Dan Goodman, detailed how the Parish Council can become involved in this, how training is delivered and how sites are selected and authorised. Several Parish Councils locally already undertake Community Speedwatch with positive results.

The Council is keen to get involved with this initiative as we have regular reports of excess speed on many of our roads in Anlaby and Anlaby Common. We’ll also be looking to work more closely with our Neighbourhood Policing Team at Kirk Ella Police Station so that they can support this effort."
